Fall Festival at Hicks - Westbury

Otto the Ghost is back in action for the first time this season this Saturday! Enjoy a hayride down a decorated trail, visit some farm animals, and enjoy fresh roasted corn and other fall treats.
2nd Annual Mid-Autumn Festival - Oyster Bay

The 2nd Annual Mid-Autumn Festival will take place at Planting Fields Arboretum State Historic Park this Saturday. Enjoy cultural exhibits, arts & crafts booths, pony rides, and non stop entertainment. Pre-sale admission $25 per car; tickets at the door $35 per car.
LI FamFest - Brookville
Saturday
This Saturday, kids can play and parents can learn together at LI FamFest. From 10a - 3p head to Long Island University’s Pratt Recreation Center and check out many Back to School exhibitors such as Birthday party venues, after school programs, special needs professionals and more!
Fall Family Carnival - East Hills
Sunday [rain date Sunday, September 25th]
Celebrate the start of the fall season at Camp Jacobson with rides, games, barbecue, refreshments, community service projects and more! Free and open to the community.
Italian Festival - Hempstead
Sunday
Head to the 24th Annual Italian Festival taking place at Hofstra University. The festival features food, vendors, crafts, cultural exhibits, and much more. Children’s activities include: bounce house, upper show, face painting and magic show.

Looking for plans tomorrow? Come join us at the Interactive Special Needs Resource Fair in Wantagh!
Take a break from Super Bowl party preparations and come down to this FREE family event from 10am - 4pm tomorrow at The Mosaic School (1309 Wantagh Ave. Wantagh NY 11793).
There will be arts & crafts, yoga, zumba, magic, games, prizes, and more! This event will help special needs children of all ages prepare for life’s changed. Speak with us and other caring professionals devoted to enriching the lives of our children and their families.

The Interchange Business Organization (IBO) has teamed up with the Mosaic Foundation for Autism to bring an interactive special needs resource fair that will feature over 50 special needs industry professionals and educators specializing in more than 45 areas that include: cognitive development, special education, guardianship law and social security benefits. Also readily available to provide free counsel and answer questions during the Fair will be speech, music, and art therapists, sports/activity coordinators, parent coaches, financial consultants, child and adult advocates, and social program providers.
