DIY Father's Day Crafts for Kids

With Father's Day only 5 days away, are your kids having a hard time deciding on the perfect gift? Sometimes the best gifts to receive are the ones from the heart. That's why these DIY Father's Day projects are the way to go!

Check out some of the below ideas you can help your children make:

Personalized Mugs - Every Father deserves a “#1 Dad” mug for Father’s Day - and fortunately, they are pretty simple to create on your own! Visit your nearest dollar store or Wal-Mart for a ceramic mug of your choosing. You’ll want to wash it well with vinegar or glass cleaner to remove any oil or residue. Then get creative with sharpies or painters pens! To set the design, you’ll need to bake the mug in the oven at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. DIY Toddler Art T-Shirt - Why not create some wearable art! Let your toddler try their hands at a one of a kind t-shirt design. Purchase a light colored shirt in Dad’s size and get some masking/painters tape and dark colored fabric markers. Use the tape to set designs then let your little one have at it! My Dad ROCKS Paperweight - Is Dad a businessman? Why not create a custom paperweight for his desk! This project requires is a rock heavy enough to weigh down paper, acrylic paint and sealer spray, paintbrush, and some glitter glue. Give the rock a good wash, wipe any excess water with a towel and allow the rock to air dry. Then get painting! Check out Our Family World's tutorial

No matter what you choose to make for dad this Father’s Day, he’s sure to appreciate your heartfelt gift. Have even more ideas? Tell us about them at our Facebook page.
