“Best best best dental office ever!! Not even a year ago my daughter was so nervous to go now she loves and looks forward to seeing Dr. Marc and his wonderful staff!” - Sophia T.
“I love Adelberg Montalvan! I have been bringing my two children (now 6 and 10 years old) for years! They love going to the dentist, the staff is friendly and the office is very clean and modern with an under the sea theme. My youngest used to be terrified and when she needed treatment, the doctor discussed with me all the different options on how to get the treatment done. During her procedure the doctor kept her calm and made jokes throughout the whole visit, making her feel at ease and happy. She no longer is afraid to go, they both get so excited when it's time for their checkups! I wouldn't want my children seen by any other practice!” - M.D.
“I wouldn't even dream of taking my son anywhere else! Completely trust Dr. Bennet and all the staff at Adelberg montalvan. Friendly, knowledgeable and aimed to please, every dental visit is an amazing experience for both kid and parent!” - Gavin P.
“Amazing!!!!! They took the time to explain everything and also the doctor was so patient with my 5 year old daughter who is very nervous during her cleaning.” Jacqueline S.
“I have a 2 1/2 year old daughter and she had a wonderful experience with Dr. Bennet and has been talking about the dentist since her visit. I would highly recommend them. Perfect for kids and nice atmosphere for all.” - Cara G.

5 Tips for Preventing Cavities
No one LIKES dealing with cavities - they’re annoying and painful. But ignoring cavities in baby teeth assuming they’ll fall out anyway is a dangerous misconception.
To help prevent cavities in your family, use these five recommendations from an expert pediatric dental practice (aka - us!):
1. Teach your children the importance of dental health.
First and foremost, it’s important to teach your children the importance of routine dental care. Help your children understand the importance of brushing for two minutes twice daily and once daily flossing.

2. Up the intake of crisp fruits and veggies.
Crisp, water dense fruits and veggies are not only a great way to keep your child’s mouth hydrated - but they also help stimulate the production of saliva. The proteins and minerals found in saliva help protect tooth enamel which prevents tooth decay!
3. Avoid excess sugar.
We’re not saying to avoid ALL sugar - remember, moderation is key. When you can, limit your child’s sugar intake. Instead of a glass of juice with lunch and soda with dinner, substitute one meal with water and encourage water consumption throughout the day. Drinking plenty of water throughout the day is an effortless habit for preventing cavities!
4. Make routine dental visits.
Bring your kids into their regularly scheduled dental appointments with us! This way, we have the opportunity to spot any irregularities and catch problems fast. We know it’s easy to skip appointments, but committing to visiting us twice a year will allow us to address problems early when things are typically more treatable.

5. Ask us about sealants.
The grooves and depressions that form the chewing surfaces of the back teeth are extremely difficult (if not impossible) to clean of bacteria and food. As the bacteria reacts with the food, acids form and break down the tooth enamel, causing cavities. Tooth sealants help prevent this! Sealants are just a thin, plastic coating painted on teeth. When applied to the chewing surfaces of molars, sealants act as a barrier between the tooth and harmful bacteria. It lasts for several years and just needs to be checked during your child’s regular appointments.

Tooth Friendly Easter Basket
T-minus 2 days until the Easter Bunny stops by our homes! And who doesn’t love waking up to a basket full of colored eggs and various sweet treats! But when the baskets are empty, you may find yourself left with another surprise from the Easter Bunny - a toothache.
This year, encourage the Easter Bunny to leave some tooth-friendly options for your little bunnies - such as:
Hollowed out chocolate - Moderation is key! You don’t need to deprive your kids from their favorite chocolate bunny, just choose hollowed out instead of a solid brick of chocolate. Better yet, look for dark chocolate treats - dark chocolate contains an ingredient called CBH which can help harden tooth enamel, win win!
Tooth-friendly treats - Lollipops, caramels, or any other hard/sticky candy takes longer to eat and can latch on to teeth, exposing teeth to sugars longer. Don’t let these be the center of focus for the Easter basket - choose dark chocolate, sugarless gums, or sugar-free candies. Aside from candy - there are always some healthy snack options like carrot sticks! An Easter Bunny favorite and also great for teeth, carrots help stimulate saliva which helps wash away any sugars in the mouth.
Toys, games & gifts - Stuffed animals, sidewalk chalk, lip balm, oh my! Easter doesn’t have to be all about having sweets - after all, your kids are sweet enough! Add in some non-food alternatives to celebrate the holiday while also protecting teeth.
Dental products - Get your kids excited about brushing and flossing again! Treat them to a fun flavored toothpaste or floss to add variety to their normally minty routine. Add some fun animal dental flossers and new toothbrushes for a complete dental set. Perfect to use after the candy is done!
For all who are celebrating, we hope you have a Hoppy Easter!
